生日聚會
Yesterday I went to a birthday party.
昨天我去參加了一個生日聚會。
My friend Jane had her tenth birthday.
我的朋友簡過了xx歲生日。
Her house was decorated with balloons and streamers.
她的房子裝飾著氣球和彩帶。
Her mother had baked a big birthday cake.
媽烤了一個大生日蛋糕。
The cake had “Happy tenth birthday Jane” written on it.
蛋糕上寫著“xx歲生日快樂，簡”。
There were ten candles on the cake.
蛋糕上有十支蠟燭。
Jane blew out the candles and made a wish.
簡吹滅蠟燭，許了個愿。
I wonder what she wished for.
我不知道她許的什么愿。
Your wish won’t come true if you tell anyone what it was.
如果你告訴別人那是什么，你的愿望就不會實現(xiàn)。
We sang “Happy birthday to you.”
我們唱了“祝你生日快樂”
At the party we played some games.
在聚會上我們玩了一些游戲。
I won one of games so I got a prize.
我贏了一場比賽，所以我得了獎。
We also swam in Jane’s swimming pool.
我們也在簡的游泳池里游泳。
Jane opened her gifts.
簡打開了她的禮物。
Her gifts were wrapped in bright and bows.

She got lots of nice gifts.

She got some compact discs, some clothes and some computer games.

Jane thanked everyone.

We ate a lot of food at Jane’s party.

We had hot dogs.

I put mustard and ketchup on my hot dog.

Then we ate cake and ice cream.

We had pop to drink.

I think I had too much cake and ice cream.

I was very full by the time the party was over.

We thanked Jane and her mother before we all went home.
